Using PSP10, we'll be making This tutorial includes Color Balance, but is otherwise translatable.

01 Start with your base. Here's my base.
02 Duplicate your base twice and bring both to the top. Set both layers to overlay 100%.
03 Make a new Color Balance adjustment layer, and input these values: Midtones: -100 0 0 (Perserve luminance is checked)
04 Make a new Hue/Saturation/Lightness... adjustment layer, and set cyans saturation to 30.
05 Make a new layer and fill it with #00000. Set the layer to color 100%. Because I wanted Mint's eyes to be the focal point, I erased that part of the layer, leaving the blue.
06 Make a new Brightness/Contrast... adjustment layer, and set both brightness and contrast to 7.

Very easy tutorial~ I'd love to see what you guys come up with, so please post your results! Hope this tutorial helped :)

Unfortunitely my program doesn't have colour balance but I made due with what I had. Thank you for the tut. =D

May I ask, what is the difference between PSP8 and PSP10? I'm looking for a new image editing software and since you're the only one I know that uses different ones, I would like your opinion on which one is better and perhaps why. It would really help me out a lot ^_^

Oh ya what does it say on your icon at the bottom? Do you use made up phrases, or lyrics? I can never think of anything good to write on mine lol.

Wow, that's a great result! I love the red tones :D

There really isn't any difference, other than 10 having Radical Blur. The two are pretty much the same, in my opinion.

Just random gibberish xD

Hmmm I'll have to see if the stores sells any copies. I know PSElements has Radical Blur but it is a crapiest program ever, in my opinion lol. I think it is ment for newbies, so it is high time I find myself a new one. Just out of curiousity, what about PSCS? Is that remotely the same as PSP10? PS software is really hard to find here, probably becasue my city is a small government city, no creativity lurking around :P

gibberish eh? I always thought it was some kind of message that relates to the image haha. But I like the gibberish-ness XD
