program Photoshop. Uses Selective Color, Curves and Channel Mixer, so not translatable.
AL ➝ adjustment layer
L ➝ levels
C ➝ curves
HS ➝ hue/saturation
SC ➝ selective color
BC ➝ brightness/contrast
CM ➝ channel mixer
for example, SC/AL will mean Selective Color Adjustment Layer.
Here's the very pretty Eternal Poison art, courtesy of escorts! Let's crop for great justice \o/
Firstly~ Take a light sort of beigey-grey (f2ebe5) on Multiply, 100%, idk why, just go with it
And let's fix it with a L/AL! RBG on 5, 1.09, 229 should do the trick.
Looking more normal now, yay! Let's fix a bit more with a C/AL. Reminder: to use these settings, just click anywhere in the big graphy thing and then type in the right numbers to get your point.
Each set corresponds to a point, like [input, output].
RBG: [56, 50] [116, 130]
Another fill layer lolwhut. A very dark purple (48123d) on Exclusion, 25%. Again, idk why; I don't seem to understand anything about this icon, it has a mind of its own :')
Have two CM/ALs ftw!
Red: 120, -20, -10, 5
Red: 115, -10, -10
Green: -10, 115, -10
And a SC/AL! I feel like I'm in an old western, slinging around adjustment layers like guns left and right xD /reaching for humour
Reds: -50, 15, 20, 0
Yellows: 0, 0, 100, 0
Whites: 100, 60, 0, 0
Blacks: 0, 0, 0, 100
I believe I lifted this step from another tutorial; I wouldn't be able to find it though, because I bent the rest of the icon so far out of recognition xD Light blue/teal (37c3d8) on Soft Light, 50%.
Another SC/AL, what a surprise! A very subtle difference this time because you put it on 20%.
Reds: -100, 100, 100, 0
Neutrals: -50, 0, 0, 20
Have a texture by tralala_icons here on Multiply, 60%. As you can see, I flipped it vertically and soft-erased some bits for a subtler look. Also, move this by threeyespei around as you see fit and put it on Screen, 100% \o/ Two birds with one step!
You guessed it, another AL goes here: specifically a L/AL sob. RGB 17, 1.20, 250 plz and thx
TWO MORE STEPSSS it feels like I've been typing this for forever :'D A very dark grey (0b0b0b) on Screen, 100% to lighten a tad.
I added a last-minute glow along the bottom here, much like in this tutorial, and followed it up with a BC/AL: Brightness -18, Contrast 77. Hooray! /collapses
